New Image Hair Clinic, a hair replacement business located in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania has supported the American Liver Foundation (ALF). The support New Image Hair Clinic provides ALF helps the organization further its mission of preventing, treating, and ultimately curing liver disease.
For nearly 40 years, the ALF has served as a voluntary health agency committed to promoting liver disease education and research. Created by the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD), the ALF is the country’s sole organization that represents citizens with liver disease. In the United States, liver disease is one of the 10 highest causes of death, and it affects approximately 30 million people. In conjunction with the AASLD, the ALF provides liver disease research grants. Since the foundation’s inception, it has awarded nearly $25 million in research funding that has gone directly to research for prevention, treatment, and a cure for liver disease.
