New Image Hair Clinic supports the Patrons of the Arts

Active with nonprofit organizations, the MTHC-affiliated New Image Hair Clinic supports the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums. Vatican City holds one of the world’s largest and most impressive collections of art in the world in its museums and the Pontifical Galleries. These locations welcome more than 15,000 people every day, but the ticket prices only pay for its day-to-day operations. Furthermore, it lacks funding from the Holy See. As many of these works are fragile, they require upkeep, restoration, and conservation, and the money for this work comes from the museums’ supporters.

For over 30 years, the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums has played an important role in ensuring that these pieces can be appreciated by future generations. The organization was inspired when Vatican art toured major American cities in the early 1980s. Since its inception, it has welcomed members from around the world and has established branches in North America and Europe. Members of this entity who visit Vatican City receive a complimentary tour of the Vatican Museums led by a private guide.
