Recently, New Image Hair Clinic had an opportunity to partner with Variety-The Children's Charity, a non-profit organization helping to improve the lives of kids with disabilities by providing them with custom-made bikes, strollers and communication devices. In partnership with local businesses and individuals, Variety gifts a local child with a disability a custom-designed device from one of their signature programs (My Voice, My Bike and My Stroller programs). The goal of these programs is to promote mobility, communication, and social interaction in children with disabilities, allowing each child to live life to its fullest, no matter what their disability may be- Helping kids, Be kids.

At the age of twenty-four, Frank Petrosky began experiencing hair loss. As with many who suffer hair loss at an early age, this experience caused a devastating blow to Frank's self-esteem and sense of well-being as a young man. But in 1969, Frank stumbled upon an article about a new technique for hair loss restoration that changed his life profoundly, charting a new course for the direction of his life and career in the decades to come.

Hair loss, medically known as alopecia, has a wide variety of causes. While it is normal to shed 50 to 100 hairs a day, significant and noticeable hair loss may be temporary or permanent. It is important to discover the cause so the correct treatment can be initiated.
